This is Amanda (picture below) my much adored friend who passed away in October 2025. Amanda had asked me to write and deliver her eulogy and she also trusted me to be the person to liaise with the celebrant and Funeral Director to ensure her final wishes were carried out. It meant the world to me to be given the privilege to honour her last wishes. At the time I was struggling with my corporate role in fiduciary services, and so I took time to reflect, and spoke to friends and family who all thought I should look into being a celebrant. 

Not long thereafter, I completed the International College of Professional Celebrants course in Yorkshire. The most life affirming week of my life, where I got to meet some incredible and inspirational individuals.
